Gospel: Matthew 18:15-20
Jesus said to his disciples: “If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have won over your brother. If he does not listen, take one or two others along with you, so that ‘every fact may be established on the testimony of two or three witnesses.’ If he refuses to listen to them, tell the church. If he refuses to listen even to the church, then treat him as you would a Gentile or a tax collector. Amen, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again, amen, I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything for which they are to pray, it shall be granted to them by my heavenly Father. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”

SEPT 7, 23 of yr: Ez 33.7-9; Rm 13.8-10; MT 18.15-20
IF YOU WARN THE WICKED TO TURN FROM HIS WAYS & HE REFUSES TO TURN,
HE SHALL DIE FOR HIS GUILT. BUT YOU SHALL SAVE YOURSELF.
"If your brother sins against you, go & tell him of his fault.
If he listens to you, you have won over your brother."
During the day: Don't judge the person, judge his actions & intentions. More important than their consequences are his recognition of unjust behavior & will to correct it. Your greater concern for him than for yourself will bring out the best in him; that's what matters.
ABOUT PRAYER: We take people into our prayer, the better to see Christ in each. From within, he wants what's best for them; from without, we try to complement his efforts. Our communion with each other in Christ--even with those who are unaware of his presence--is the key to true peace.

Which brother is the sinner? Do we have a divided household? What is God's greater plan? How can we know? The prophets spoke to the kings, the kings did not listen. God provided an outcome for His glory! We pray for all whose names that come to us that are in need of prayer and those that only the Holy Spirit know to pray for. Praise God for all He does in our daily life. Please keep God in your prayers, worship and thankgiving (He blesses us - we should be a blessing to Him).
