Life Celebration Prayer-Gram Prayer Intercessors "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." (Philippians 4: 6) To the Family of Our Brothers and Sisters or Friends or Neighbors.  Begin the Celebration of Life and Death. We need to focus on Life Celebrations of how we lived it and how we died. The family should be lifted up in our thoughts and prayers during the week concerning their loss. As followers of Christ I can take some comfort in the fact we have the promise of Life Eternal and we simply pass from this life to the next to be with our God. Remembering He is the Judge of us all. The following prayer-poem was picked up on a trip to England by Barbara and Les Washington. Togetherness Death is nothing at all. I have only slipped away into the next room. I am I and you are you. "Whatever we were to each other we still are." "Call me by my old familiar name; speak to me in the easy way you always used" "Put no difference into your tone; wear no force air of solemnity or sorrow." "Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together." "Play, smile, think of me. Pray for me. Let my name be the household name it always was." "Let it be spoken without effort." "Why should I be out of your mind because I am out of your sight. I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner. All is well, nothing is past, nothing is lost" "One brief moment and all will be as it was before, only better, infinitely happier and forever. We will all be one with Christ."
